Dighty Connect is a volunteer-led project working along the Dighty Burn in Dundee, exploring ways to enhance the green spaces along the burn through a mixture of conservation and cultural activities. In April 2014, a day of activities was held to commemorate and celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Longhaugh Racecourse in the north of the city. Local Voices was commissioned to record the day’s events and produce a short film featuring interviews with participants and characters in the folk play written and performed by volunteers.
